Volna - is a village of Baranovichi district, Brest region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village Volna is Orthodox church of the Holy Trinity, originally built in 1768. Church in the village Volna has a very solid and monumental appearance, it is quite old, and in addition, its external design has a very interesting alternative to temples, stucco military subjects. There is no doubt that the church in the village Volna is an important architectural monument of the 18th century, historical and cultural value and interesting sights of Belarus.
Temple in the village Volna was built at Uniate Basilian monastery instead of the old wooden church formerly belonged to the same monastery. Stone monastery building of the 18th century, which was located next to the church, to this day, unfortunately, has not survived. Male Uniate monastery was abolished in the early 19th century. After that, the temple in the village of Volna was re sanctified as the Orthodox Church. Since the beginning of the 19th century and until 1873 there functioned a female Orthodox monastery. Then, the church in the village of Volna began to carry out the role of an ordinary parish church. The same status of this church is today. To this day in the Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Volna survived several old icons of the 18th century.
In the village Volna there is and another small point of interest. The fact is that once in the village was a small palace complex. Unfortunately, the palace in the village Volna not preserved. Have survived only a few of the former farm buildings, refers to a complex. One of them - the former brovar (small for the production of alcoholic drinks factory), was built in the village Volna in 1830. Brovar building now used for commercial purposes. Other buildings also belongs to the complex were built in the 19th century, but are now in a state of neglect.
