Ivanava - is a city of Brest region of Belarus, an administrative center of Ivanava district. The main feature of the city of Ivanava is the fact that here was captured by Ukrainian Cossacks, subjected to brutal torture and tortured to death, Saint and Martyr Andrew Bobola, which today is widely revered in the Catholic Church, not only as a saint, but as a guardian of Poland, Belarus, and especially the Pinsk Roman Catholic diocese. Saint Andrew Bobola was famous for being very hot and successfully preached Christianity in Polesie, for which he even won the unofficial title of "Apostle of Polesie" or "Apostle of Pinsk".
