The building is certainly a very dark place, because in this prison were held a lot of shootings, the Germans during World War II, and the NKVD at different times. By the way, in this prison have spent some time Napoleon Orda - famous Belarusian artist, as he was suspected of involvement in the uprising of 1863-1864. During his stay here, he even managed to write a few sketches, which depicted the life of a prison (see below). Now the building of the former prison, again, is used for industrial purposes.
