Dubaj - is a village of Pinsk district, Brest region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village Dubaj is the Catholic church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, built in the mid 18th century. This temple is quite small, yet it has a very memorable appearance. Status of the church in the village Dubaj - satisfactorily strong, but the temple is clearly in need of restoration. Although for some tourists architectural monuments in that state have the greatest appeal. The church in the village Dubaj was originally built as a chapel, and was a part of the estate owned by the Jesuits. Their mission was functioning in the village Dubaj since the beginning of the 17th century until 1773.
After the abolition of the mission of the Jesuits, the manor in the village of Dubaj, nevertheless, continued to develop. The new owners built a small palace here, which, unfortunately, was completely destroyed during the Second World War. Also, the park with ponds and the canal system, which have survived to this day, has been expanded and strongly decorated. And the chapel in the village of Dubaj began to perform the role of the church. In addition to the church, from the mentioned manor there were only a few unremarkable outbuildings, entrance gates and fragments of the park with a huge 450-year-old oak tree. The park is maintained in good condition. To date, the church in the village of Dubaj is an interesting architectural monument, a cultural and historical value and a landmark of Belarus, but, unfortunately, it does not function. It should also be noted that on the territory of the park in the village of Dubaj there is a cemetery of Russian and German soldiers killed during the First World War.
Another interesting attraction of the village Dubaj is a Orthodox church of Nativity. This temple was built in 1811, and at the moment it is in good enough condition and functions. Before the church in the village Dubaj is a small wooden belfry. Not far from the church located as another attraction deserves attention. That is an old wooden house of the 19th century, which at that time, apparently, refers to a complex of church buildings and served as a rectory and the local church administration. Today, the building is in poor condition and in need of major repairs.
In addition, there are several interesting sights in the village of Dubaj. First of all, this is the site of an old paved road connecting Ivanava and Pinsk. At the entrance to the village of Dubaj from the side of Ivanava, not just some dozens of meters of a paved road were preserved, but several kilometers in length. This rather unique object deserves a certain attention of tourists. Also in the village of Dubaj there is a ferry crossing through the nearby river Pina. Thus, the village of Dubaj is a good place to get acquainted with some elements of the road infrastructure that were previously very common, and are now invariably replaced by more modern solutions. In addition, we need to say a few words about the village of Dubaj. This village is quite picturesque. There are some very picturesque rural houses and small streets. The preserved park with the church in good weather creates the impression of a real paradise, and the village of Dubaj itself leaves a very pleasant impression on tourists and travelers.
