Karelichy - is a town of Grodno region of Belarus, the administrative center of the Karelichy district. The main attraction and sight of the town of Karelichy is the Orthodox church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. This unusual white-stone temple was built of brick in 1866. The church is made in retrospective-russian style. The temple in the town of Karelichy is picturesquely located on a hill in the center of the settlement. Thanks to this, the church is visible from afar. The temple in the town of Karelichy in the second half of the 19th century was several times relatively seriously rebuilt and reconstructed. Another notable attraction and sight of the town of Karelichy is the Catholic church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. This small temple was erected in 1938. The architectural style of this church is neoclassicism. After the Second World War, the temple was closed. However, in the early 1990s, the Catholic church was returned to believers, and in 1992 the temple resumed its full functioning. Currently, the Catholic church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the town of Karelichy is in excellent condition, continues to work for its original purpose and is an architectural monument of the first half of the 20th century.
Other historical sights and attractions of the town of Karelichy can also include several historical buildings of the late 19th century, which can be described as ordinary historical buildings of the settlement. There is also a monument to Jan Czeczot - the famous Belarusian poet, folklorist and ethnographer. In addition, earlier in the town of Karelichy there was an extensive manor complex of the Radziwiłł family. Unfortunately, only a few outbuildings that are in an extremely unremarkable condition have survived from this estate to our time. It is also worth mentioning that Karelichy is a town with a developed basic infrastructure, there are many shops of various profiles, banks and post offices, a cafes, a restaurant, a hotel and other objects necessary for tourists and travelers.
