Žuchavičy Vialikija - is a large village of Karelichy district, Grodno region of Belarus. The main and actually the only attraction of the village of Žuchavičy Vialikija is the Orthodox church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. This temple was built of wood in the distant 1745. This ancient wooden three-century church, crowned with a small baroque-style dome, has never been significantly rebuilt. As a result, the temple in the village of Žuchavičy Vialikija has survived to this day in almost original form. The only exceptions are wall decoration and roofing material, which are regularly updated during repairs necessary to maintain the church in good condition. In 1849, next to the temple in the village of Žuchavičy Vialikija, a two-tier tent bell tower made of natural stone was also built. This bell tower has also been preserved to this day in its original condition.
Currently, the orthodox church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul is functioning as originally designed and is in good condition. The architectural ensemble of the temple in the village of Žuchavičy Vialikija, which consists of an ancient wooden church of the 18th century and a monumental stone bell tower of the 19th century, is an architectural monument, historical and cultural value and interesting sight and attraction of Belarus. It is worth noting that in the village of Žuchavičy Vialikija, a manor was also located earlier. Unfortunately, at the moment there is absolutely nothing left of this architectural and historical monument, not even ruins or outbuildings.
