Voupa - it is a large village of Vawkavysk district, Grodno region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village Voupa is Catholic church of St. John the Baptist, which was built in 1773. The church in the village Voupa is an architectural monument of the 18th century. This wooden church, and in Belarus remained not so much wooden churches of the 18th century, so this attraction can be quite interesting to tourists and travelers. Church of St. John the Baptist in the village Voupa remained virtually untouched. It is known that the churches of Belarus in its history, undergoing many changes, both architectural and historical events dictated. But this shrine have not touched any soldiers or revolution or rebellion. Above all, there is a unique creation - the old altar, unique in the Belarusian land is very small.
Near the church of St. John the Baptist is a small chapel built in 1873 (pictured right). Also in the village Voupa there is a new Orthodox church built in 2003 (left) and the old wooden church of Saints Peter and Paul, built in 1859 (pictured in the center).
