Słavacičy - is a village of Zel’va district, Grodno region of Belarus. The main and in fact the only attraction of the village of Słavacičy is the Orthodox church of Saint George of Lydda. The construction of this small temple was started in the village of Słavacičy around 1788 and lasted more than 10 years. The church is built of brick. After the church in the village of Słavacičy was solemnly consecrated in 1800, it functioned continuously until 1961. Then the church was closed, and for more than 30 years the building of the temple was used for economic needs. For example, as a granary. In 1993, the dilapidated temple building was returned to the Orthodox Church.

However, the restoration of the temple seriously started only in 2005 and lasted almost 10 years. Today, the church of Saint George of Lydda in the village of Słavacičy is already in very good condition. The area around the temple is surrounded by a stone wall and is well landscaped. Today, the church in the village of Słavacičy is an active Orthodox temple, a monument of culture, history and architecture of the 18th century, as well as an interesting landmark of Belarus. In the village of Słavacičy there is also a remarkable building of the former mill of the 19th century, built of natural stone with the use of original mosaic masonry. Today, this building is in disrepair.
