Benitsa - is a village of Maladzyechna district, Minsk region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village of Benitsa is the Catholic church of the Holy Trinity. This temple was originally built in the very beginning of the 18th century, namely from 1701 to 1704. Simultaneously with the erection of the church in the village of Benitsa, immediately next to it, the monastery building was also built. At the same time, a brick fence was built around the whole complex. The central entrance to the territory of this architectural ensemble was decorated with brama. After the completion of the construction work, a Catholic monastery of the Bernardines was organized here. In connection with the suppression of the uprisings of the middle of the 19th century, first in 1851 the monastery was abolished, and then in 1866 the church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Benitsa was converted to an Orthodox church.

At the end of the 19th century, the monastic residential building was dismantled. In 1919, when the village of Benitsa became part of the interwar Poland, the temple was returned to the Catholics. In 1948 the church was closed by the Soviet authorities. In the second half of the 20th century, the building of the temple was used as a warehouse. In 1988, the Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Benitsa was again returned to the faithful. At the same time, the restoration of the temple was formally begun. To date, the church in the village of Benitsa does not function and is empty, the restoration is not finished and is not being maintained. Nevertheless, the condition of the temple is very strong and reliable. And the church itself in the village of Benitsa, even in such a somewhat neglected state, is an important architectural monument and landmark of Belarus.

The next important attraction of the village of Benitsa is the Orthodox church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located right in front of the church and erected from natural stone in 1886. This church, as well as the Catholic church, was closed by the Soviet authorities in 1948, and just as later the church building was used as a warehouse. However, in our time the functioning of the church in the village of Benitsa has been restored, and the building of the temple has been repaired. To date, this functioning church is an interesting cultural and historical value and a landmark of Belarus.

Also, in the 18th and 19th centuries, in the village of Benitsa there was a manor complex, which included not only a wooden manor house, but also a number of outbuildings. However, until our time the manor house has not been preserved, and only the building of the former barn, made of natural stone, has been preserved from the number of economic buildings. The appearance of the manor house, as of the 1870s, was able to capture Napoleon Orda on one of his sketches (presented below). Finally, the manor house was completely destroyed in 1987.
