Priluki - is a large village of Minsk district, Minsk region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village of Priluki is an extensive palace and park ensemble. The estate in the village of Priluki has existed since the beginning of the 18th century and is located on the site of an Orthodox monastery that functioned here throughout the 17th century. In the 18th century, the central building of the complex was a wooden manor house. At the beginning of the 19th century, a majestic stone palace was built on the site of a wooden manor, which has survived to this day. Throughout the 19th century, the palace was rebuilt, expanded and improved many times. As a result, by the beginning of the 20th century it was a very luxurious and richly decorated palace with a greenhouse and an impressive collection of paintings.
In addition to the palace, the complex also included many outbuildings and a beautiful park. Many economic, auxiliary and secondary buildings of the palace and park complex in the village of Priluki have been well preserved to this day. All of them date back to the 19th century, are located around a small lake and look very picturesque and unusual for this type of building. These outbuildings greatly adorn the palace and park complex in the village of Priluki and add picturesqueness and tourist attraction to it.
After the 1917 revolution, various elements of the palace and park complex in the village of Priluki were used for various needs. It housed a research farm, as well as a rest house for officials and writers. Some of the buildings were also used by local agricultural enterprises. During the Second World War, the German military commandant's office was located in the palace in the village of Priluki. Later, the palace was used as a rest house for the German high command in Belarus. The retreating Germans burned down the palace. After the war, in 1957, the restoration of the palace began. After the completion of the restoration work, a scientific organization was located in the walls of the palace in the village of Priluki, which was engaged in plant protection. This organization was reorganized many times and changed its departmental subordination. Today it is the "Plant Protection Institute", which is part of the structure of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and it is still located in the palace in the village of Priluki.
Thus, the palace in the village of Priluki is actively used in our time. The chic original interiors of the palace were, of course, lost during the tumultuous events of the 20th century. At the same time, the exterior of the palace has been restored and maintained in excellent condition. The preserved fragments of the park are also maintained in good condition, and many outbuildings are being restored. Some of the previously restored auxiliary buildings of the former palace and park complex in the village of Priluki are now used for housing and office premises, as well as for the Folk Art Center. The palace and park ensemble in the village of Priluki is a very interesting landmark of Belarus, an important architectural monument of the 19th century, as well as a cultural and historical value of the country. This beautiful and majestic palace is deservedly popular among tourists and travelers from Belarus and other countries.
