Slabodka - is a village of Stowbtsy district, Minsk region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village Slabodka is the wooden Orthodox church of St. George the Victorious. This remarkable temple, according to various sources, was built either in the 1880s or in 1905. A unique feature of the church in the village of Slabodka is that unlike most other Belarusian wooden churches, it has not yet been painted in bright blue. Thanks to this, this church retains a much more authentic appearance than many other, even much older and richly decorated wooden Belarusian churches. The church in the village of Slabodka is currently in a satisfactory condition. This architectural monument of wooden construction is, albeit a very small, but nevertheless very picturesque and memorable landmark and cultural and historical value of Belarus.
