Mogilev district of Mogilev region of Belarus keeps on its territory important architectural sights and attractions. Most of the sites and monuments of Mogilev district is located in the city of Mogilev. Firstly, in Mogilev survived so many churches and temples, as well as the catholic church made in an unusual style for Belarus, secondly preserved many historical buildings belonging to the usual urban development, in particular - the town hall, well and thirdly, the most important thing in the city of Mogilev survived Nicholas Monastery. This monastery is surrounded by a small stone wall and a bit like a castle or an ancient settlement. The monastery was built in the mid 17th century and still operates. Architectural monuments and sights rest of the Mogilev region are mainly represented by temples, churches, mansions and memorials.
