The original church building was erected in the village of Zbirahi under the Uniate church of the Holy Trinity. Since 1866, the temple was under the jurisdiction of the Orthodox Church. In the period from 1920 until the end of World War II the building was handed over to the Roman Catholic Church. In 1925 he made his restoration. In the postwar years, the church in the village of Zbirahi again returned to the Orthodox denomination, and is dedicated to Martyr Paraskeva. In the history of the temple is also noteworthy that at least there is no evidence that he even once burned or been robbed.
In addition, it is important that the temple is not substantially rebuilt since its construction, but merely restored, and thus, at the moment in general still retains its original appearance. From this point of view, not rich internal and external decoration of the church in the village of Zbirahi, becomes its main advantage and value. It turns out that it is here, in the village of Zbirahi, we can find and see an authentic 400-year old wooden church, and understand how to look at the time, and many other churches, and churches do not have survived.
