Prazaroki - is a village of Hlybokaye district, Vitebsk region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village Prazaroki is the Catholic church of Assumption of Virgin Mary. This temple was built from 1899 to 1907. In 1950, the church in the village of Prazaroki, like most other churches in the country, was converted into a warehouse. In 1989, the church was returned to believers, after which it was restored and re-consecrated in 1990. The exterior of the church in the village of Prazaroki does not have any special decorating elements, however, the appearance of this temple is very elegant and memorable. Particular attention is also paid to the highly artistic brama, which adorns the central entrance to the church’s territory and was made after the restoration of the church. The church in the village of Prazaroki is an important architectural monument of the early 20th century, a historical and cultural value and an interesting landmark of Belarus.
In the village of Prazaroki there is another interesting attraction, namely the Orthodox church of Saints Peter and Paul. This temple was built in 1909. The Orthodox church in the village of Prazaroki is located a few hundred meters from the Catholic church. Both temples are perfectly visible from the Hlybokaye-Polatsk highway, next to which is located the village of Prazaroki. Together, these churches create an interesting architectural ensemble very typical for Belarusian towns and villages and form the panorama of the entire settlement.
Another important feature of the village of Prazaroki is that it is here that the tomb of Ignat Bujnicki is located - a Belarusian actor, director, theatrical figure, founder of the first professional national Belarusian theater, a man who laid the foundations of Belarusian professional theatrical art and was born near Prazaroki village. The grave of Ignat Bujnicki is located in the central part of the village of Prazaroki, not far from the Catholic church, where several intersecting streets form a small square. In the village of Prazaroki there are main elements of the basic infrastructure, in particular, several small shops and a gas station. So, the village of Prazaroki, with its sights and infrastructure, has a certain appeal in the eyes of some tourists and travelers in Belarus.
