Zavušša

Zavušša - is a village of Nesvizh district, Minsk region of Belarus. The main sight, landmark and attraction of the village of Zavušša is the ruins of a Catholic chapel. This small temple was built in the village of Zavušša at the end of the 18th century. Initially, the chapel served as a burial vault and was part of a vast estate complex. The estate in the village of Zavušša was so popular and well-known at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries that kings and emperors visited it. The manor complex in the village of Zavušša, together with the chapel, was badly damaged during the First World War. To our time, only a few unremarkable outbuildings and a chapel have survived from the entire estate. The outbuildings are still used by the local agricultural enterprise. The chapel in the village of Zavušša is in very poor condition. Attempts are being made to restore the chapel. Unfortunately, so far these attempts have not yielded results. The ruins of a Catholic chapel in the village of Zavušša are an interesting sight, landmark and attraction of Belarus, an architectural monument of the 18th century, as well as a cultural and historical value of the country.
