Syanno - is a small town of Vitebsk region of Belarus, the administrative center of Syanno district. Unfortunately, the city Syanno, as in everything Syanno district, in fact there is no significant attractions. The city Syanno has just a few old buildings, which belong to the 19th century, but which, nevertheless, can not be of any value to tourists. These buildings are shown in the photo below. Church and chapel, which are also available in the photo - modern building. Even more unfortunate is the fact that earlier in the town of Syanno had several Orthodox churches and Catholic church (they can be seen in old photos below and engraving of Napoleon Orda at the bottom). So destroyed these temples were not war, and in peacetime, the Soviet authorities. A beautiful cathedral built in 1867 dismantled for bricks in 1934, the church built in 1907 demolished in 1939, the old Catholic church built in 1772 and without a real reason destroyed in 1962. All these temples at the time of destruction were in good condition and did not require investments and repairs. They could not simply destroy.
