Nalibaki - is a village of Stowbtsy district, Minsk region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village of Nalibaki is the Catholic church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. This temple was built in 1935-39. In the early 1990's, the church in the village of Nalibaki was restored and renovated, and nowadays is in excellent condition. This temple has a very impressive size. The area around the church in the village of Nalibaki is well-equipped. Here, besides the temple, there is also: a wooden chapel, built in the early 1990's; a small modern metal bell tower; several sculptures. The entire architectural complex is fenced with a stone fence, and the central entrance to the territory of church is decorated with the brama of the 19th century (apparently the brama was erected in those times when the same church or chapel that did not survive to this day was located at the same place).
It is noteworthy that the chapel, which can be seen today near the church in the village of Nalibaki, was built as a temporary church in the early 1990s, while the church was being renovated. However, as we see, it was decided not to destroy it. On the contrary, this chapel is maintained in excellent condition, and, apparently, it will remain for a long time. So, the church in the village of Nalibaki is an interesting architectural monument, a cultural and historical value and a landmark of Belarus.
Another small attraction of the village of Nalibaki is the Orthodox church of St. Michael the Archangel, which was built only recently - in 2006. Now a few words about the village of Nalibaki. This village is relatively large, there are many elements of basic infrastructure, for example, shops. The village of Nalibaki is located on the eastern outskirts of a vast swampy forest area, named after the village Naliboki forest.
Naliboki forest is one of the largest forest tracts in Belarus, and, according to some information, throughout Eastern Europe. Naliboki forest is neither a reserve nor a national park of Belarus. Nevertheless, the local flora remains extraordinarily diverse. The official status of Naliboki forest is a republican landscape territory. This forest is a specially protected natural area, one of the key botanical territories of Europe, and also has the official status of the territory important for birds. Almost all of Naliboki forest is also a hunting area. Here, rivers, hills, ravines and swamps are picturesquely combined. In vast areas of this forest there are many small settlements, as well as cultural and architectural sights of Belarus. However, it is the village of Nalibaki, in fact, is the "gateway" to Naliboki forest. Nevertheless, unfortunately, in the village of Nalibaki there is absolutely no tourist infrastructure associated with the forest.
