Hiermanavichy - is a village of Sharkaŭshchyna district, Vitebsk region of Belarus. The main attraction of the village Hiermanavichy is Catholic church of the Transfiguration of Jesus. The building of this ancient temple was built in the distant 1787. In Soviet times, namely from 1948 to 1988, the church in the village of Hiermanavichy was closed and converted for economic needs. Nowadays, this church again functions as a temple. The interior of the church is made in the standard style for this type of temples. After the return of the church to the believers, its interior was renovated and is in excellent condition today. However, it was not possible to completely restore all the former wealth of interior decoration and restore its historical appearance.

The exterior of the church in the village of Hiermanavichy is in a safe condition, but still awaits the end of the restoration. The church in the village of Hiermanavichy is very picturesquely located on the high bank of the river Dzisna, which flows through the village of Hiermanavichy. This temple, although very small, is nevertheless the architectural dominant of the whole village. Also in the village Hiermanavichy remained central building (namely small palace) of estate complex of the late 18th century. This palace (manor house) was built in 1782. Other buildings belong to the estate complex in the village Hiermanavichy not preserved. Nowadays, this palace is a kindergarten and a museum Jazeps Drazdovich. This outstanding figure of Belarusian culture lived and worked in these places. Also in the village Hiermanavichy preserved wooden Old Believer Church of the Assumption, built in 1926.
