Near the Catholic church of the Holy Trinity, in the village of Ishchalna, the plebania (it means, the house of the priest and the parish administration), which was built here at the beginning of the 20th century, has been preserved. Also on the territory adjacent to the Catholic church in the village of Ishchalna, another interesting and noticeable attraction was preserved - a sundial created in the middle of the 18th century. These watches were made in Vilna by special order, taking into account the exact geographical location of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Ishchalna. Installing such a watch in a small place is a rarity. Usually, such sundials were produced for large cities and capitals. According to some sources, this is the only such antique sundial in Belarus. And although the sundial in the village of Ishchalna was exposed to all the winds and rains all this time, nevertheless, they were preserved very well. And only the copper tip, which was supposed to cast a shadow on the sundial and thus show the time, was lost over the years.
