Lyntupy - village of Pastavy district, Vitebsk region of Belarus. One of the major architectural landmarks of the village Lyntupy is Catholic church of St. Andrew the Apostle. Some sources mentioned that the temple was consecrated in honor of St. Andrew Bobola, but the official website of the Catholic Church in Belarus emphasizes that the church and the parish are St. Andrew the Apostle name. By the way, the village Lyntupy first mentioned in 1459 in connection with the construction at the same site of the first, then a wooden church named after St. Andrew the Apostle. But the modern church was built in 1914 in the central square of the village. In Soviet times, attempts were made to close the church, but the parishioners managed to save it. In many ways, therefore, to the present day, this temple came in good condition. The church also continues to be maintained in perfect condition and in our days. Another important attraction of the village is a small Lyntupy palace and park complex, located here. All buildings belonging to this Manor complex, were built in the early 20th century. At the moment, most of the buildings of the complex relative to actively restored. The composition of the estate complex in the village Lyntupy includes: a small palace, which is the central building of the whole complex; one administrative building (already renovated); very interesting tower (this tower served for agricultural purposes and was built, as well as other buildings in the early 20th century, but it looks as if a medieval defense tower, even a loophole in it); further, a lot of outbuildings, some of which are now fully functioning as a part of one of the local businesses; several arched bridges and fragments of the park with artificial ponds and small channels.
