Indeed, the Church was not spared the war of the 17th - 18th centuries, during which the temple is often severely damaged. But after the end of hostilities Church quickly recovered and restored. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the temple is also several times slightly rebuilt and renovated. The last major restoration of the church in the village Kamai was carried out in 2010-2011.

In the history of the church in the village Kamai also has another unique moment. The fact that the temple has always functioned from the time of its construction, with the exception, of course, short periods of time in which there were carried out various restoration, reconstruction or repair work. It is one of just a few of the Belarusian Catholic churches which are not closed during the Soviet era. Some sources attribute this to the good attitude of the Soviet authorities to the abbot of the temple, who during the war saved the famous guerrilla from the Germans.

Another distinguishing feature of this church - a large number of celebrities associated with it. For example, one of the famous Belarusian artists of the early 20th century - the poet and priest Kazimir Swajak, at one time was the rector of this church. One of its main Belarusian renaissance works, in addition to poetry, he became drawn prayer book "Voice of the soul" in the Belarusian language for the Catholic Belarusians.

This park is located directly in front of the church.

Another attraction of the village Kamai is a stone cross placed in front of the church. There are different views about when the cross was carved and installed here. The most plausible hypothesis seems that it was installed just before they started to build a church, or simultaneously with its construction, ie, at the beginning of the 17th century. While on a plate, set in modern times before that cross, given that it refers to the 15th or 16th century.

Another attraction of the village Kamai is a building of the former parish house built right next to the church in 1927. Now, this building does not apply to the church. Here is located the local forest administration. The building is in excellent condition, and the area around it beautifully landscaped.

Finally, there is the village Kamai and another small point of interest. Namely, a former steam mill, built in the late 19th century. Steam mill was not very common in Belarus, respectively, and at the moment they remained very small. Therefore, each of the remaining steam mills, including the well-preserved mill in the village Kamai is a certain value and is of a kind unique architectural monument. Though of course, now it is no longer mill, but just another outbuilding that tourists are not of any interest.
