Miluncy - is a village of Braslaw district, Vitebsk region of Belarus. Sometimes this village is also referred to as Pielikany. The main and actually the only architectural attraction of the village of Miluncy is the Catholic church of the Holy Apostle Jakub. This temple was built of red brick in 1907 in a neo-Gothic style. It is also important to note that during the construction of the Catholic church of the Holy Apostle Jacob in the village of Miluncy, almost all the canons of the original medieval Gothic were reproduced and realized. After the Second World War, when the village of Miluncy became part of the BSSR, the temple was closed. Between 1949 and 1990, the church building consistently served as a granary, a fertilizer warehouse, a pigsty and a garage. For some time the temple was empty.
